Missionary takes Camden roots to Africa
Ella Johnson-Williams
Ella Johnson-Williams, formerly of Camden, will be in Mpologeni, Swaziland, Africa, for two years as a missionary with So Send I You Global Mission Initiave, of New York, N.Y. While there, Johnson-Williams will feed about 76 children five days a week in a soup kitchen unique to the area.
Former Camden resident Ella Johnson-Williams was selected for the job of her dreams last fall. After one failed attempt and lots of uncertainty, Johnson-Williams went to the Mpologeni, Swaziland, in Africa, in October to act as a supervisor of a “soup kitchen.” Johnson-Williams was born and raised in Camden and graduated from Camden High School in 1972.
