Bobby Wade, a project manager for DBS Corporation of Chattanooga, Tenn., recently took out a $3.4 million permit for exterior renovations to the old Kmart at River Oaks Shopping Center in Camden. According to Camden City Building Officer John Burns, the work will be extensive. “They will need to do demolition of the sidewalks for new water and sewer connections,” Burns said, “and there’s a lot of electrical work.”
