Residents of and visitors to Camden who want to eat in an outdoor setting may get more of a chance to do so if Camden City Council passes an ordinance creating a new chapter to the city’s code of ordinances. First reading of the ordinance is scheduled for Tuesday night. A copy of the ordinance attached to Tuesday’s proposed agenda states that the city “believes in and supports the growth of business and new business ventures within the city” … and that the city “has been approached about the possibility of allowing and providing for outdoor dining in front of certain businesses and storefronts.”
