Preservation awards tonight at city council

Camden City Council will hand most of its meeting tonight over to the Camden Historic Landmarks Commission for the presentation of its annual preservation awards. Awards will be handed out in various categories, including community impact, renovation of a non-designated historic property, adaptive reuse of historic property, stewardship, educational excellence, youth preservation excellence, preservation excellence for non-profit organization, and the Agnes Corbett Preservation Service Award. Along with the awards, council will consider a proclamation designating May as National Historic Preservation Month in Camden.
