During its meeting tonight, Camden City Council will consider annexing a 1-acre property at the corner of U.S. 521 and I-20. According to online records from the Kershaw County Registrar of Deeds Office, Dilmar Oil Company purchased the property in November for $115,000 from Mulberry Plantation. It is the last parcel of land before the Exit 98 ramp from U.S. 521 heading southbound and is located adjacent to a wooded lot Dilmar already owns next to the Mobil gas station and convenience store near the Waffle House.
