“To construct an expanded multipurpose recreational facility located as close to downtown Camden as possible with partners to operate it.” Replacing Rhame City Arena was the first of several major goals Camden City Council came up with during a recent five-hour strategic planning session. The session, held Thursday at Central Carolina Technical College’s (CCTC) I-20 campus, was led by Anna Berger and Bill Tomes of the University of South Carolina’s Institute for Public Service and Policy Research.
