Judy Thiel and three of her furry friends will continue to grace the halls of the Kershaw County Humane Society’s pet adoption center which bears her name. Board members, employees, family and friends recently gathered at the Thiel-Myer Pet Adoption Center to celebrate Thiel’s memory and unveil a portrait of her and three of her dogs -- all of whom were shelter pups. Thiel, who passed away in 2013, was a long-time advocate, volunteer and financial supporter of the Humane Society and Walter M. Crowe Animal Shelter, serving as board president for many years.
