The third annual Kids’ Fourth of July Parade in Camden took place Saturday, doubling as a celebration of Kershaw County being named a 2018 All-America City community. The county’s All-America City delegation served as grand marshals, leading the parade of Independence Day-themed bicycles, scooters, strollers and wagons. Festivities began in front of Camden City Hall with the Pledge of Allegiance, patriotic music from a fife and drum corps, and more, including balloons, bubbles, face painting and the Kershaw County Library Bookmobile.
