The U.S. Tennis Association’s South Carolina chapter recently honored the Classically Carolina Junior Championships, held annually at the Camden Country Club, with the Jim Russell Junior Tournament of the Year Award. The USTA-SC presented the award to tournament director Kevin Jackson during an awards ceremony held at the Wild Dunes Resort on Isle of Palms on Dec. 5. The Classically Carolina Junior Championships attracted 175 juniors and offered amenities for players and spectators, including food, games and big trophies.
