With drought, Camden asks customers to conserve water

The city of Camden is asking water customers to practice voluntary water conservation. The Catawba-Wateree Drought Management Advisory Group (CW-DMAG) recently announced continued dry weather conditions and above-average temperatures have placed the Catawba-Wateree River Basin in Drought Stage 1. Stage 1 is the second of five drought stages and the advisory group has recommended voluntary water conservation by water users across the basin, which runs from the North Carolina mountains to the Wateree Dam.
