11 charged in second phase of CPD drug investigation
Branden T Service
Branden T. Service was one of 11 suspects picked up during a recent 10-day CPD drug sweep. He was served nine drug-related warrants, including distribution of crack and powder cocaine and marijuana after running from police on Aug. 21. Service, of Bishopville, was the only non-Camden resident picked up in the sweep.
Eleven people were arrested during a two-week period and described as "Phase II" of an ongoing Camden Police Department (CPD) drug investigation. The 11 suspects, arrested between Aug. 21 and Sept. 2, were all charged in connection with undercover drug buys agents working with the CPD conducted as far back as June 2008. Most of the transactions took place earlier this year.
