Amtrak - Map
An Amtrak passenger train struck a logging truck at the railroad crossing just off U.S. 1 on Robert Reynolds Road, seen in the center of this aerial image. The crossing is just a few miles north of Cassatts main intersection. Authorities said the train struck the truck around 6 a.m. Monday, sending the driver to the hospital with minor injuries. No one else suffered injuries. Amtrak hired charter buses to take passengers to another train, presumably in Florence, to continue their ride. - photo by (c) 2015 Google Maps
