Another car break-in suspect pleads guilty

Ethan Kane Hanselman, 19, of Broad Street, Camden, pleaded guilty to four counts of breaking into motor vehicles and one count each of unlawful carrying of a pistol and one count of financial transaction card theft. Circuit Court Judge Deandrea G. Benjamin sentenced Hanselman to a total of five years in prison under the S.C. Youthful Offender Act, credited with 95 days time served and suspended with 18 months probation, substance abuse counseling, and random drug and alcohol testing. The sentencing information also indicated Hanselman’s case is being transferred to the state of Ohio.
