ATEC students learn skills at the Camden Fire Department

A number of ATEC Firefighter I students participated recently in the Camden Fire Departments (CFD) Skills Day at the CFDs training grounds. The Camden Fire Department (CFD) held its first Skills Day for the new Firefighter 1 Applied Technology Education Center (ATEC) program at the CFD’s training grounds. Thirteen students from the Firefighter 1 program attended the five-hour class day. Covered subjects ranged from ladder rescues to fire attack and the growth stages of fire.
