Bethune man sentenced in federal steroid case

A Bethune man will spend more than eight years in prison for his involvement in a steroid manufacturing and distribution case. According to a U.S. Attorney for South Carolina press release, U.S. District Judge Cameron McGowan Currie sentenced Christopher Britt Beebe, 39, of Bethune to 97 months in prison, five years supervised release and a $200 special assessment. Currie sentenced Beebe in Columbia on charges of conspiracy to distribute steroids and possession of a firearm in relation to a drug trafficking crime.
