Boan looks back at first year as Kershaw County’s sheriff

On January 3 -- a year and two days after taking his own oath of office -- Kershaw County Sheriff Lee Boan swore in two new deputies: Chris Williamson and Sam Powers. Williams is a school resource officer (SRO) while Powers is working as a patrol deputy.
