A circuit court judge denied bond Thursday morning to a Cassatt man charged with murder after fatally wounding his brother Tuesday afternoon. Robert Daniel Hilton, 30, who allegedly shot and killed his brother, Michael Paul Hilton, 35, at a home on Thoroughfare Branch Road, will remain in the Kershaw County Detention Center until the “case is worked out.” Circuit Court Judge Thomas Cooper told the Hilton family it was “too soon” after a murder charge to grant bond.
