Around 7:45p.m. on August 7, 2016 a Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office deputy arrested and charged two men with speeding 26+ miles per hour over the posted speed limit in downtown Camden. “While a speeding violation isn’t normally newsworthy, the location of this incident, and the speed involved (111mph) is,” said Sheriff Matthews. “Fortunately they didn’t kill themselves or anyone else with their irresponsible actions.”
