Burglars take $15,600 from CMA safes
May have also broken into airport

The Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) is investigating a break-in at Camden Military Academy (CMA) where the burglars got away with more than $15,600 in student allowance money. CMA officials called the KCSO around 6:30 a.m. Jan. 9 after discovering damage to an outer door, office door and the two safes in which the money was kept. The break-in occurred at the CMA’s administrative building.
