Camden man arrested in counterfeiting scam

A 40-year-old Camden man was arrested Sunday after he allegedly used counterfeit money to buy a McDonald’s Happy Meal. Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) investigators and the U.S. Secret Service also seized $4,930 in counterfeit currency at Ryan Scott Jordan’s Hasty Road home, according to Sheriff Jim Matthews. Deputies were called to the McDonald’s restaurant in Lugoff Sunday regarding an altercation.
