Camden man dies in McRae Road crash

A Camden man died Saturday afternoon after his SUV drove off the side of McRae Road and caught fire. Kershaw County Coroner Johnny Fellers identified the victim as 40-year-old Paul Anthony Hall of Camden. According to Fellers and the S.C. Highway Patrol (SCHP), Hall was driving a 2000 Dodge Durango on McRae Road around 1:30 p.m. Saturday when the SUV went off the left side of the road, struck an embankment and then a tree, and caught fire, trapping Hall inside.
