Once again, the Camden Fire Department (CFD) has brought home top honors for its efforts in fire safety and public education. The CFD was honored for the second year in a row with the Richard S. Campbell Award from the S.C. Association of Fire Chiefs (SCAFC). The award, named for a former S.C. fire marshal, now deceased, who made major contributions to fire safety and public safety education, is to recognize outstanding public safety education programs statewide.
