Check Into Cash robbery suspect pleads guilty

The man Camden Police Department (CPD) investigators charged with robbing the Check Into Cash on East DeKalb Street about a year and a half ago pleaded guilty to two of the charges against him on Aug. 9. CPD officers arrested Keshawn Dwayne Thomas, then 35, of Baron DeKalb Road, Camden, on Jan. 31, 2017, and charged him in connection with the armed robbery that took place five days earlier. Officers charged Thomas with two counts each of kidnapping and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and one count each of armed robbery with a deadly weapon and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
