Columbia man arrested for drugs, gun possession while on bond for same charges

Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) deputies arrested a Columbia man on seven assault, drug and weapons charges Friday. According to a KCSO press release, Leon Antwaun Crosby, 34, of Locust Road, Columbia, was out on bond on similar charges out of Richland County when Kershaw County deputies arrested him. The KCSO charged Crosby with third-degree assault and battery, simple possession of marijuana (second offense), possession with intent to distribute (PWID) crack cocaine, PWID within proximity of a school, PWID cocaine, PWID cocaine within proximity of a school and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
