No arrest after man found with shotgun

A Camden Police Department (CPD) officer released a 19-year-old Sumter man after initially detaining him following a report that the young man had pointed a shotgun at a 23-year-old Camden man around 10 a.m. April 19. The officer responded to a house on Chesnut Ferry Road Ext. just behind the Camden Heart Center on DeKalb Street. The officer found the 19-year-old in a white car, ordered him to the ground and handcuffed him.
