The Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) arrested and charged a Lancaster man with grand larceny, DUI, driving under suspension and failure to stop for blue lights Sunday after he fled in a stolen truck from a KCSO deputy. Deputies arrested Reese Bailey, 20, of Ned William Road, Lancaster, after the victim of the truck theft reported the incident and kept deputies advised of Bailey’s movements by following him. A KCSO traffic unit deputy saw the truck on Old Georgetown Road and attempted to make a stop, but Bailey sped away, reaching speeds up to 70 mph, according to a KCSO press release.
