Two men stole more than $550 worth of jewelry and some cash from a woman at a Denton Street residence in east Camden after reportedly posing as yard workers. According to a Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) report, one of the men wore an orange traffic vest when he knocked on the woman’s door and asked if she needed any trees cut down. The woman told deputies that she took the man to her backyard and that he eventually left in a red Dodge pickup truck.
