Man arrested for probation violation found with AK-47

Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) narcotics agents arrested Trence Terry Turner, 23, of St. Paul Road, Camden, on Jan. 18 on multiple charges after patrolling an area near his home due to recent drug arrests and further drug activity complaints. During a traffic stop, agents found Turner in possession of a handgun and a loaded AK-47. According to a KCSO report, Turner pled guilty in 2015 to possession with intent to distribute marijuana and was placed on probation.
