Bethune man arrested for impersonating an officer

Camden Police Department (CPD) officers arrested a Bethune man for impersonating a police officer. According to a July 7 CPD report, an officer in civilian clothes entered a West DeKalb Street department store and saw two men entering the store wearing black T-shirts with “POLICE” in bold letters on the front and back. The report said one man also was wearing a black cap with “POLICE” on the front and a gold-colored badge hanging on a chain around his neck.
