The Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) recently charged a Cassatt man out on a $200,000 personal recognizance bond for the murder of his brother with allegedly physically abusing his girlfriend. Robert Daniel Hilton, 30, was charged for the murder of his 35-year-old brother, Michael, in April after a day of drinking and drug use. In his initial bond hearing, Circuit Court Judge Thomas Cooper told the Hilton family it was “too soon” after a murder charge to grant bond.
