A Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) deputy found more than 60 grams of marijuana, less than 1 gram of crack and some other pills in a vehicle after he lawfully stopped a driver and two passengers for not wearing seatbelts or using a turn signal. The driver of the vehicle, Anthony Hart of Camden, told the officer his license had been suspended. When the Passenger of the vehicle Jere Carter, also of Camden, reached for his ID, the officer heard and saw that the man had pill bottles in his pocket.
