Deputy arrests career criminal following chase

A Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) deputy arrested a Cassatt man on several charges following a vehicle and foot chase around 2:15 p.m. July 14. A KCSO press release identified the arrested man as Terrance Demetrice Hall, 38, of Bluff Road, Cassatt, and characterized him as a “career criminal.” According to the press release, following the chase, the deputy ultimately charged Hall with failure to stop for a blue light, resisting arrest, driving under suspension (second offense), possession with intent to distribute cocaine (third and/or subsequent offense) and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
