Deputy recovering after being struck by car in Lugoff

A Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) deputy is recovering at home today after being struck by a car while directing traffic near Lugoff Elementary School (LES) on Thursday morning at the intersection of Ridgeway Road (S.C. 34) and Wildwood Lane. The intersection is less than 1 mile away from KCSO headquarters.
