Drug charges after 102 mph chase on I-20

An Anderson man with a long arrest history added to his resume Sunday when Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) deputies arrested him with a variety of illegal drugs on I-20. According to KCSO press release, a deputy clocked Joshua Ryan Payton, 26, traveling at 102 mph on the interstate around 2 p.m. Sunday. Payton reportedly fled from the deputy, weaving in and out of traffic at high speed.
