Drug dealer pleads guilty

Warren Edward Washington, 29, of Cassatt, skipped out on his Oct. 17 trial date for crack cocaine distribution and marijuana possession charges. Less than 24 hours later, an anonymous tip led Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) deputies to a home on Clearwater Lake Road near Westville where they found Washington and arrested him. Washington pleaded guilty late Tuesday afternoon to a third offense of possession with intent to distribute (PWID) crack cocaine and a second offense of simple possession of marijuana stemming from his Feb. 21 arrest on Bradley Road in east Camden.
