Eight people, including a couple in their mid-50s, were arrested Thursday after a raid on a Gardner Street, Camden, house. Acting on information provided by concerned citizens, Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) deputies executed a search warrant at 1202 Gardner St. As deputies were executing the search warrant, two suspects fled the scene on foot, but were apprehended after a short foot pursuit. In a statement released Friday, Kershaw County Jim Matthews said deputies discovered and seized three weapons, more than half a pound of marijuana, numerous pieces of crack cocaine and scales.
