Elgin man charged in plot to support ISIS

Kristopher Sean Matthews, 34, of Sheffield Drive, Elgin, is charged in a federal court criminal complaint in a conspiracy to “provide material support” to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, or ISIS, a “designated foreign terrorist organization.”
