A Lancaster County man arrested more than two and a half years ago for allegedly murdering his estranged wife and his male roommate in Kershaw County pleaded guilty to those charges on Oct. 31. Brian Franklin Evans, 49, pleaded guilty to two counts of murder before Circuit Court Judge DeAndrea G. Benjamin who sentenced him to 30 years in prison, according to a press release issued late Friday afternoon by the 5th Circuit Solicitor’s Office. Evans pleaded guilty to killing his wife, Elizabeth Marie Evans, 60, in Lancaster County and dumping her body in Kershaw County.
