Heroin use, sales rising in Kershaw County

Heroin use and sales are on the rise nationally and locally, bringing with it a host of problems. Like many areas of the country, Kershaw County is experiencing a rise in heroin sales and use, according to law enforcement, first responder, and social services workers. KCSO Lieutenant Brad Lawson and Kershaw County Coroner David West talked about the issue of heroin in the county, and a synthetic drug, fentanyl.
