JTC, law enforcement reach out to kids, parents
JTC - Cops and Food
Camden Police Department (CPD) officers Isaac Parks and Karen Devors serve up hotdogs and hamburgers to a woman and her daughter at Tuesday evening’s Camden/Kershaw Night Out at the Jackson Teen Center (JTC). The CPD and Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office partnered with the JTC to forge better connections between law enforcement and the community, and to make up for a somewhat rained-out National Night Out that took place Aug. 3. Tuesday’s event included music, games, and health screenings. (Martin L. Cahn/C-I)
