A Columbia man will have to come up with $135,000 cash in order to get out of the Kershaw County Detention Center after deputies arrested him Monday night on various drug and gun charges. Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office narcotics officers arrested Javonta Marquis Wells , 23, of Faraway Drive, Columbia after he was found to be in possession of approximately 24 grams of heroin, 15 grams of crack cocaine and a Glock .45 pistol. "There is no reason why Wells should be on the street with all of his prior arrests," Kershaw County Sheriff Jim Matthews said.
