KCSO arrests man on multiple narcotics charges

A Camden man with a lengthy narcotics arrest history and who has spent time in prison twice is behind bars again following his arrest by Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) narcotics investigators Feb. 12. According to a KCSO press release, investigators arrested Raymond Quadir Eugene Jones Jr., 30, of Smyrl Circle, Camden, and charged him with trafficking marijuana (10-100 pounds), trafficking crack cocaine (third offense), trafficking cocaine (third offense), possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, possession of a stolen pistol, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and unlawful carrying of a pistol. “Raymond Jones sells drugs, runs from the police by vehicle and on foot, carries a stolen gun and is in and out of jail,” Sheriff Jim Matthews said in the release.
