Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) narcotics investigators arrested an Elgin woman on Tuesday on drug and weapons charges. According to a KCSO press release, investigators arrested Alexia Shontae Johnson, 21, of Smyrna Road, Elgin, and charged her with possession with intent to distribute (PWID) marijuana, PWID heroin and possession of a stolen pistol. In the press release, KCSO Chief Deputy Jack Rushing said the narcotics investigators discovered evidence indicating Johnson had been selling multiple pounds of marijuana and other drugs during the past year.
