Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) deputies arrested three men March 17 and charged them with cockfighting. A KCSO press release identified the men as Moises Aquille Montes, 34; Miguel Martinez, 32; and Juan Diego Jimenez, 26, all of Gilbert. According to the press release, Kershaw County dispatchers received a phone call during the late afternoon of March 17 alerting them to possible cockfighting in a remote area off Old Stagecoach Road in Cassatt.
