An alert Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) deputy nabbed a man wanted for murder in Anderson County on Saturday while on patrol as part of enhanced enforcement during the Memorial Day weekend. Kershaw County Sheriff Jim Matthews said Lt. Scott Meyers clocked a vehicle traveling at about 85 miles per hour in a 70 mph zone during the evening hours. “He pulled him over and the suspect presented him with a fake ID that actually checked out,” Matthews said.
