The Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) received its sixth consecutive Agency of the Year award for departments with 51-100 officers “excelling in the area of DUI arrests, DUI victim services and underage drinking programs.” The KCSO received the award Tuesday from the S.C. Department of Public Safety and the Office of Highway Safety and Justice Programs during a ceremony in Columbia. According to a KCSO press release, no other law enforcement agency in South Carolina has earned such an award for six consecutive years.
