The Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a recent rash of auto break-ins that have occurred in Kershaw County county. According to KCSO officials, at least 27 vehicles have been broken into since Tuesday. KCSO deputies first responded to calls in the Elgin area in reference to auto break-ins in the Kelsney Ridge, Tall Pines, and Stratford Plantation subdivisions, where several victims reported that their vehicles had been rummaged through or that items had been taken from vehicles.
