KCSO nabs three on drug charges in two incidents

Three people were arrested on drug charges in two separate incidents on the same day. Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigators arrested Joseph Kenneth Thomas, 46 and Michelle Asbill Silver, 42, both of Buxton, N.C. after they were found to be in possession of approximately one ounce of methamphetamine, a quantity of cocaine, ¼ pound of marijuana and 120 oxycodone tablets while at the Pilot Truck Stop on U.S. 601 in Lugoff. Shortly after 3 p.m. on July 15,KCSO Narcotics Investigators were conducting surveillance at the 601 Pilot Truck Stop when they observed Thomas and Silver, who were in a Cadillac Escalade parked with several tractor trailers.
