KCSO nabs two out of state fugitives

Two fugitives from out of state were caught in Kershaw County last week. On January 4, Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) deputies and the U.S. Marshals Task Force arrested Jacob L. Penn III, 33, of Cassatt and Rodney Malloy, 37, address unknown, after receiving information that Penn was wanted by authorities in North Dakota, according to a KCSO press release. At about 3:45 p.m. on January 4, a KCSO/U.S. Marshals Service arrest team arrested Penn at 2542 Porter Road, Cassatt, on failure to appear arrest warrants on charges of possession with intent to distribute controlled substances, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, theft of property (two counts), prohibited possession of a firearm, child endangerment (two counts), possession of drug paraphernalia (two counts) and aggravated assault.
