Around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday -- about the same time most candidates in this year’s elections were either celebrating their wins or lamenting their losses -- a man robbed the Bojangles in Lugoff attached to a Shell gasoline station near I-20 Exit 92. According to a statement issued by Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) Capt. Steve Knafelc, the man came into the restaurant through the drive-through side door, jumped over the counter and went straight to the cash register while armed with a black gun. The suspect handed an employee a bag and demanded she put money from the register into the bag.
